3rd Annual Beta Theta Ball
Dodgeball Tournament

The Men of Beta Theta Pi and the Women of Kappa Alpha Theta would like to invite to you to participate in our winter philanthropy event, Beta Theta Ball. This event is in support of our main charitable organizations: Literacy Center West, and Court Appointed Special Advocates.

• The dodge ball tournament will be hosted at the Campus Recreation Center
• Date: Saturday, March 6th 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.
• Cost: $75 per team of 5, but up to 7 can be on the roster

• Single elimination tournament with a loser's bracket
• Teams should come dressed up with a theme like in the movie Dodge Ball.
• Awards will be given out to the teams who win their division, and to those that have the best team theme.

Literacy Center West (LCW) has been Beta Theta Pi's main philanthropy recipient for many years. Started by a Beta Alumnus, LCW is a non-profit organization that is based out of Cincinnati in the Price Hill area. The mission of LCW is to provide literacy instruction, G.E.D. preparation and job-readiness assistance at no cost to those who desire it. The programs that LCW offers are open to all, regardless of race, gender, and age.

CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates - is Kappa Alpha Theta's national philanthropy. CASA trains community volunteers to speak up for abused and neglected children in court. The CASA program can help a displaced child find the security needed to grow and reach full potential. With your help, more volunteers can be trained and more children can spend less time in court and less time in foster care.
